By car:
A4 Motorway exit 'Jena-Lobeda' towards 'Stadtroda'. At the 2nd traffic light opposite Aral and Mercedes turn left, passing MediaMarkt and MöbelFinke on your left. Follow the road and go straight trough the roundabout towards Ilmnitz, follow this road for about 3km. Turn left at the T-cossing towards Schöngleina.
After enterning Schöngleina, turn left for the airfield following the signs 'Flugplatz Jena-Schöngleina'.

From Jena-Ziegenhain, Jena-Wöllnitz und Jena-Lobeda there are several hiking paths to the airfield which is worth a visit at all seasons. Enjoy snow hikes in the winter or Thuringia sausages or ice cream at our restaurant in the summer.
